The 2020 Lake Louise to Banff Loppet raised $1,000 for a donation to Spirit North!
Established in 2009 by Olympic gold-medalist and friend of the Loppet, Beckie Scott, Spirit North is a national charitable organization that uses cross-country skiing and land-based sport to empower and improve the health of Indigenous youth across Western Canada.
Each year, the Loppet donates to various charitable organizations throughout the Bow Valley. If you participated in the most recent Loppet, your race entry fee went even farther than the 51km you skied! The Loppet organizing committee first covered costs related to snowmobile repair, maintenance and event costs with additional profit donated to Spirit North.
